Why metals are not advised near MRI scans?
Recently I took my dad to MRI scan. His right shoulder joint was in trouble. But it was terrible experience. It was like sitting in train engine for 2 hours.
The interesting aspect was the lab assistant of MRI scan instructed us not to possess any metal objects near the scanner. Even the wrist watch. I was wondering why it is not allowed? Recently I found this on YouTube to show, what will happen if MRI comes across metal objects.
