Why Am I ordinary, Extra-Ordinary?

A short time ago someone called me extraordinary. That got me thinking. Am I really the one? I may be the limited edition and see things in a different way but I feel I’m nowhere to extraordinary. I may be knowing a byte of computer science in zettabyte. I may have accomplished a few things but I’m nowhere near to extraordinary.

Why Not Extraordinary?

Some time ago, I wanted to be the best. To be good at everything. Wanted to dress well. Impress others. Wanted to be good at speaking. Never wanted to fail. But I failed. In the pursuit of being extraordinary I found, being extra ordinary is more essential than being extraordinary.

How Extra Ordinary?

Being ordinary, I do not know most of the things. Hence I started to learn, read and explore more. I want to talk less. Listen more. Every time I speak I want to be clear. Want to feel the simplest of music notes I listen to. Now simple T-shirt and flip-flops make me happy. I want to see why people behave the way they are. I do not want to hate anybody. I just want to be in my own way. Now I want to see things as they are. I just want to feel every moment of life.

For this brief moment on earth, thanks to those who made me realize I should become ordinary. Maybe when you start becoming extra ordinary, they will call you extraordinary. Being extraordinary can define your excellence in one particular field. Being ordinary keeps you a humble and humane.
