Workshop on Cloud, Big Data and IoT | soul-searching experience in Goa
Invited by Don Bosco engineering college, Fatorda, Goa for a workshop on Cloud Computing, Big Data, and IoT. It was a great experience for a week in a vibrant state. Despite the prevailing circumstances, the void put on by lovely people in my Life. There was a lot of soul-searching and unexpected learning regardless of technological stuff.
On the workshop front, students explored basics of Cloud Computing, Virtualization and Codenvy coding platform during Cloud Computing sessions. In Big Data they learnt the potential of MapReduce and Analytics. Finally, in IoT(Internet of Things) they explored Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors and Actuators usage. On career view, they explored the importance of Online Reputation Capital using about.me, LinkedIn and Blogging.
Thanks to Mr Gaurang S Patkar, Mr Merwyn D’Souza, Mrs Amrita Naik and Mrs Kiran Waghmare for their help and support throughout the workshop. Also extended thanks to Zinho, Ronan and Keyur for their insights and escort.
Being hobbyist photographer, nature never disappoints to enrich the soul within me. As Albert Einstein said
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
Based on the previous appraisal on my photography (click here to see if you have missed them). Here are some captures of this trip. Hope these will bring a smile on your face.
The Roads:
The scenic beauty in the morning is always bliss.
The Streets and Lights are always a tough game to play with camera.
The Churches:
The Holy Cross caught my eye while riding towards Varca.
St John The Baptist Church is great with a lot of free space around.
Christ statue at ‘St John The Baptist Church’ is as tall as the sky.
The abandoned miniature Christ is hardly noticed by anyone at Uttorda Beach but under the camera, it is a beautiful thing.
The Cemetery:
After some snaps at Church, I got inside St John the Baptist Cemetery to meet some ghosts. Didn’t find any but got some good captures of angels.
The classic cross was better than other crosses. No offence to the dead ones.
The white angel on the random graveyard.
Trying to depict Life and Death in one photo.
Angels in low light. Though not perfect but worth enough mentioning.
The Indian Naval Aviation Museum:
The visit to Indian Naval Aviation Museum always sparkles patriotism.
You can explore various gadgets like traditional Gyro and GPS. These are of small ant size on our phones now.
The ride from Colva Beach Road to Velsao beach is best you can enjoy.
The Happiness:
I lost myself in watching these kids Happiness. Among few clicks, these are best framed.
The Happiness in watching kids play and grow is immeasurable.
The factory:
This Zuari Factory with the smoke against the factory workers house at night is a treat for eyes.
The mist, the lights, the factory and the Sea.
Nature:
These road dividers around Club Mahindra were at the good contrast.
This yellow flower fallen on the ground with droplets at St John The Baptist Church made things beautiful in its own ways.
The colour contrast of black, yellow and green was worth capture.
Man Made:
Masjid Mehboob-E-Subhanni is one of biggest Mosques in Goa.
Found this house a good balance between concrete and ancient style.
This place called The Red Ginger was full of reds. A good place to visit with lots of artefacts.
The Beaches:
A walk with Loved one.
At Velsao Beach, Couple having the best conversation of their Life.
Bogmalo Beach from the Exit point.
This small bridge was to connecting Main Land to Uttorda Beach. Its asymmetry was my highlight.
You may not like this photo. This is captured at Aerossim Beach in Low Light (Around 7:45 PM). I love my camera for capturing this in almost zero visibility.
Soul Searching:
Seems like she herself was in ecstasy in her own world to waves of Sea.
This girl was full of Happiness as if the waves were her tune for joyfulness.
Finally, There I’m wandering alone, riding through woods, walking along the shore asking the open skies and the waves seeking my Purpose of Life. As they say, an unexamined life is not worth Living.
